Free Bolt Pattern Converter — 5x114.3
5x114.3 mm is 5x4.5". 5x112 is not. Close is not a fit.
- On a 5-hole wheel you cannot measure between neighbouring lugs: that distance is not the PCD.
- Tape method: centre of one hole to the far edge of the hole two positions away. That measurement approximates the PCD.
- True PCD is the diameter of the green circle running through the centres of all five holes.
- On 4, 6 and 8 lug wheels you can measure straight across between opposite holes, because they sit directly opposite.
Common patterns
- 4x100 = 4x3.94"
Common on small cars (Honda Civic older, VW, Mazda).

Newer GM HD trucks (2011+).
What it does
Converts PCD between millimeters and inches, lists common patterns, and tells you whether two patterns are the same circle or not interchangeable.
How to use it
Enter 5x114.3 or 5x4.5". Add a second pattern to compare. Vehicle Fit tells you what your car actually uses.
How to read the result
Same bolt count and the same circle (within 0.15 mm) means the pattern is identical. Anything else — including 5x112 vs 5x114.3 or 5x120 vs 5x4.75 — will not bolt on. Hub-centric rings do not change PCD. Adapters do, and they have their own risks.
What this does not calculate
We convert the circle. We do not know your hub bore, thread, or seat type (conical vs ball vs mag).
Does not list every car that uses a pattern. For that, use Vehicle Fit with year/make/model.
Questions
- How do I measure a 5-lug pattern?
- Do not measure adjacent holes. The shop tape method is center of one hole to the far edge of the hole two positions away. That approximates the PCD; the true PCD is the diameter of the circle through the hole centers.
- Will 5x114.3 wheels fit 5x112 hubs with spacers?
- No. Wrong circle. Spacers and hub rings do not move the holes. Only a dedicated adapter plate changes PCD — and that is a separate, serious modification.
- Where do I find my car’s pattern?
- Open Vehicle Fit and pick year, make and model. That is the OEM spec, not a guess from a forum.
